Sanguisugabogg

Sanguisugabogg, the band with the unpronounceable name and unreadable logo, has undergone tremendous development in seven years. The group from Ohio started out in 2019 as a typical caveman death metal band. However, hard work and extensive touring have brought them to the top of the genre. The fact that they were picked up by Century Media also helps. Most importantly, however, is that they have developed enormously musically. Their roots (and the typical sound of the snare drum) have remained intact, but compositionally the band has made significant strides. Their most recent, third album, “Hideous Aftermath,” is proof of that.

Revocation

Somehow, when you think of Revocation, you think of a newer death metal band. But they have already been active for 20 years and have released 9 albums. The Boston-based formation is therefore simply part of the established order. Musically, they deliver technical death metal with a thrash edge. However, there is also plenty of room within their songs for heavier passages. In short, these gentlemen are versatile.

Internal Bleeding

The real old hands today are the men of Internal Bleeding. Founded in 1991 during the heyday of the genre, the band from New Jersey can even be called crucial. Without a doubt, Internal Bleeding is one of the founders of slam death metal. Just listen to their amazing debut album “Voracious Contempt”. The recently released album “Settle All Scores” is also a massive record. We are in for a hot Tuesday evening with these three great acts.
