ENERGY II (groepstentoonstelling) groepstentoonstelling
"Energy" is more of a mindset than a theme. The exhibition showcases the energy of 34 artists from the artist initiative B.a.d, including several guest artists.
After last year's success, we're continuing to expand on both theme and form. Less than ten minutes from Art Rotterdam, the artist initiative B.a.d is organizing an unusual group exhibition for the second year in a row: ENERGY II. The exhibition features works by both members of the artist initiative and international guest artists. The members all work in the artist's office in Rotterdam-Zuid. Throughout the building, visitors are guided past diverse artworks, many of which were created specifically for this exhibition. A route through the building and the garden displays a variety of works—from installations to video, from photography to painting—by a total of 34 artists. "Energy" is more of a mindset than a theme. The exhibition showcases the energy of the artists and the building itself; both individual and collective energy emanating from the building, the group of people, and their activities. For five days, the artists of B.a.d will transform the building into a museum-like event.
