En we gaan nog niet naar huis! (8+) Het Laagland
Varied evening at the school camp, the explosive conclusion of a week full of fun and little sleep. While everyone is getting ready for all the performances and treats, a number of children stay behind in the dormitory: 'A bit nauseous', 'Stomach ache', 'Maybe a fever'….
Gradually they discover that no one is really sick, but that none of them wants to go back home tomorrow. And each child has their own good reason for this. From their bunk beds they share their stories, worries and fears. At first shy and awkward, then more and more assertively: this can't go on!
Fellow sufferers become allies. Together it becomes easier to get their hearts off their chests and to fantasize about protest and resistance. They gather more and more courage to turn their frustrations into action. Once they get the hang of it, their adventures in the dormitory become crazier and grander. This couple is still going to make it big!
Live, shiver, cry and laugh along with this disarming performance full of recognizable struggles of today's children. With music, dance and special effects.
