De Wilde Boekenclub
A book club for people who want to live from a deeper connection with themselves, nature, and the people around them. Your invitation to read, listen, connect, and slow down.
We read books that invite you to slow down and connect with the life that surrounds you (even in the city). So that you can experience again that as humans we do not stand above nature, but are part of a beautiful web of life. Date Thursday 19 November Het Betoverende leven van Sharon Blackie Time: 19:00 – 21:00. Participation is free What will we do? You read the book at home. On Thursday evening we will meet at a green spot in Rotterdam to discuss the book. We take the time to land and do a short exercise to experience the theme of the book ourselves. Afterwards, we will have a conversation with each other (and with a bit of luck, light a fire.) The book With this book, Sharon Blackie offers the antidote to the alienation from ourselves in a world that is becoming increasingly faster, more materialistic and more virtual. It is a plea to enjoy the magic of nature more; the place to find peace, connection and inspiration. And that is also possible close to home. Participate? There is room for 10 participants. Reserve your spot via Hipsy. It is nice if you have read the book, but even if it is not quite finished, you are very welcome.
