Charl zingt Shaffy - Zondagochtendconcert

Singer-songwriter Charl Delemarre, winner of several awards, including the "Grand Prix of the Netherlands," is known for his passionate and personal music. In addition to performing his own songs, he pays tribute to the legendary Dutch composer, songwriter, and actor Ramses Shaffy.

Ramses Shaffy needs no introduction for many; his iconic songs like "Laat Me," "Sammy," and "Zing, Vecht, Huil, Bid, Lach, Werk En Bewonder" are etched in the collective memory. In 2009, Ramses gave his last public performance in Rotterdam. He passed away shortly after at the age of 76. Charl Delemarre is determined not to let Ramses' repertoire fall into oblivion and gives Shaffy's work a unique interpretation. He seamlessly weaves stories about Shaffy's life and his own experiences into Ramses' music, also performing a few of his own songs.

Charl has appeared several times on the Dutch television program "De Wereld Draait Door" and toured with artists such as De Dijk and Guus Meeuwis. His latest album is called "Paradijs." He can also be seen on the program "The Tribute: Battle of the Bands" on SBS6!
