Bolleke - Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest
Bolleke is a new musical performance for toddlers in which the children travel with the main character - a small dot - through a world full of shapes and colours, families, friendships and music.
When Bolleke is born, it happens with a huge bang. She then rolls from one encounter to the next in amazement. Everywhere there are things that are just as round as she is. But all those things know exactly what they are good at. Or what they are made for. Or where they belong. Bolleke does not. She feels different and alone. Until one day she hears something. It is music! Then she finds a special family on the branches of a walnut tree. Bolleke comes home. Everywhere. From now on, music travels with her.
