Carlobianchi and Doriano, two men in their fifties, have been nearly broke since the financial crisis of 2008. They struggle to earn money and are waiting for the return of their friend Genio, who fled to Argentina twenty years ago with a hidden stash of money. During a pub crawl through the Venetian countryside, they meet Giulio, a shy architecture student who is mourning an unrequited love. Giulio joins the two men, who give him all sorts of unsolicited advice.

What begins as a search for a 'last drink' turns into a chaotic and alcoholic journey. The men share their past, their nostalgia, and the changes in the landscape around Venice.
