About the artists
Sugar Queen is an American blues singer and songwriter with roots in gospel, blues and jazz. She touches the audience with her powerful voice and emotion. Her style combines Chicago blues with gospel, soul and the storytelling tradition of the Southern blues. Earl Thomas, born into a musical family in Tennessee, ended up in the music world by chance. His songs have been recorded by legends such as Etta James and Solomon Burke. Kai Strauss & The Electric Blues Allstars belongs to the top of the European blues scene. Strauss is a talented guitarist and singer with a recognizable style that combines traditional blues, soul, funk and contemporary grooves. Inspired by artists such as Albert King, Buddy Guy and the Vaughan Brothers, the band guarantees swinging grooves and authentic blues.
