“This is only the beginning”
For the Moving Love project, ten queer refugees each created a short two-part film portraying their personal journey. For queer refugees, the point of departure, the journey itself and even the destination are rarely safe. Yet the need to love overcomes the fear of the consequences. A powerful and hopeful afternoon about resilience, visibility and the right to be yourself.
The programme includes screenings of the ten short films and a Q&A with the creators. This afternoon provides space for meeting, conversation and exchange. A project by Impact Makers in collaboration with Skill School and LIMBO.

Van bioscoophits tot filmklassiekers bij Pleinbios
Pleinbios programmeert dit jaar achttien filmavonden op het grasveld bij Hotel New York. Daarmee wordt het aantal voorstellingen met één avond uitgebreid, en ook de capaciteit is dit jaar verhoogd. Van 11 t/m 28 augustus is de openluchtbioscoop op de kop van de Wilhelminapier te vinden.
