About Maas

Maas is a national company of professional makers with its own stage in Rotterdam. Under the artistic direction of René Geerlings, they create and program for children, youth and young adults. The encounter is central to this: between performing arts and audience, dance and theater, between ages, cultures, makers and social partners. In short, the encounter between ourselves and the world.

The combination of producing and programming in one house is unique within Dutch youth theatre and offers opportunities; it makes interesting crossovers possible and we reach a large audience.
