The Island of Brienenoord
On the Island of Brienenoord it is like being on holiday. In this wonderfully beautiful nature reserve with a view of the city there is an equally wonderful building: Buitenplaats Brienenoord. A building that we built ourselves based on a design by Superuse Studio's with many volunteers and with as much material as possible from the old building that stood here since the 1930s.
The building is never finished, just like the city, just like all of us. In the meantime, while we continue to build the building and the program, there is plenty to experience here. You can eat and drink with us, you can meet each other and others, there is a nature and culture program, we are part of the beautiful stadium park circuit. We are a rehearsal space for the future. With as many people as possible, we think up and imagine a possible future here.
