Broken chains, connected Rotterdam

In 2024, we still commemorate and celebrate the abolition of slavery. Partners of the Urban Collective, an initiative of Foundation Shared Past Shared Future (GVGT), are organising various activities for Rotterdam. With these activities, we pay attention to colonialism and slavery and the role of Rotterdam and the Netherlands in this. The aim is recognition, understanding and collective awareness of this painful past. Discover and talk about it further.
