Fans of LEGO can now also visit an official LEGO shop in Rotterdam's Koopgoot. The fifth official shop in the Netherlands will open its doors on Thursday 26 March 2026. The shop will provide shoppers with shopping and playing fun.

The new 250m² shop offers an extensive range of new products available exclusively such as LEGO Icons. The store features interactive play opportunities such as free building challenges and events. Visitors can choose from a wide selection of bottoms, tops, heads, hairpieces and accessories to personalise their minifigure. The LEGO Pick a Brick wall is a fun way for visitors to select exactly the parts they need for their builds.

Cityscape made of 89,136 LEGO bricks

Of course, no LEGO shop is the same and visitors can feast their eyes on the special wall decoration. The new shop will feature a cityscape of Rotterdam built entirely from 89,136 LEGO® bricks. The wall decoration brings Rotterdam to life in stone form and shows some of its most recognisable landmarks, including the iconic Erasmus Bridge, the instantly recognisable Cube Houses and Rotterdam's vast port. Each detail has been carefully designed to honour the city's unique architecture and vibrant character, and took 340 hours to complete.

Shweta Munshi, Vice President Marketing, LEGO Retail at the LEGO Group said, "We are excited to expand our number of LEGO shops with the opening of a fifth location in the Netherlands and our first in the Koopgoot in Rotterdam. This centre provides the ideal basis for success and we can't wait to welcome LEGO fans of all ages. Our new shop offers plenty of opportunities to get started with LEGO bricks and has a wide range of sets. The shop in Rotterdam will be a key location for product launches and events, and provides a place where our LEGO community and new builders can meet."
