Graphic Design Fair 2026 at New Institute

Jeroen Veenstra

New Institute and NAi Booksellers are organising the Graphic Design Fair, with the theme Rooting Networks. The third edition will take place on Sunday 22 March. You can register via this link.

Just as fungal networks work together by establishing connections between different plants in an ecosystem, professional design practice also has underlying systems of exchange. Thus, the Graphic Design Fair also creates space for the networks that allow creative practices to flourish. Celebrating the connections that allow graphic design to flourish creates a place where paths cross, ideas branch out and collaborations take root.

The theme: Rooting Networks celebrates the exchange systems that support the profession. Through knowledge sharing, mentoring, collaboration and opportunities.

The programme is built around moments of exchange, such as Pecha Kucha lectures, workshops, keynotes and portfolio sessions, where ideas are spread, skills are passed on and new directions are taken.
