Audio Obscura brings Amelie Lens to Rotterdam as headliner for the first time

Jeroen Veenstra

Audio Obscura returns to Rotterdam with one of the most influential names in the international techno scene. On Friday 6 February 2026, Amelie Lens will headline Rotterdam for the first time, taking over the UNESCO World Heritage site: De Van Nelle Fabriek. Ticket sales start 12 November. With a Member Sale first, then the pre-sale on 13 November and then the regular Sale on 14 November.

Belgian DJ and producer Amelie Lens is synonymous with pure, uncompromising techno. With her dark, hypnotic sound and unparalleled energy, she rules the world's biggest dance floors. A driving force behind her global EXHALE community and label, she continues to push boundaries and create a sense of belonging within the techno scene. She previously performed several times at Rotterdam Rave.

With her new audiovisual show concept AURA, recently presented at sold-out shows including a spectacular set in Santiago, Lens adds an extra dimension to her signature style: intense, compelling and full of energy. Her performance at the Van Nelle Fabriek promises a fusion of past and future, architecture and emotion, sound and light, a night when Audio Obscura and Amelie Lens prove once again that techno is more than music. The line-up will be further expanded soon.

Audio Obscura in Rotterdam

Rotterdam is no unknown territory for Audio Obscura. During previous events, the van nelle factory already proved how perfectly its industrial character matches the collective's signature: connecting electronic music with cultural heritage and architectural beauty. After the sold-out Audio Obscura Festival in 2024 and Audio Obscura x Marlon Hoffstadt and an edition with Black Coffee, the organisation returns to this iconic spot to add a new chapter to its Rotterdam story.

Previously, Audio Obscura also brought music to other landmark locations in the city, including a unique live set by Mind Against on the Zalmhaven - a symbolic highlight in Audio Obscura's ongoing quest for groundbreaking ways to bring music, space and experience together.
