Wandel gratis mee met WWF op Brienenoord

The WWF Walkathon is a sponsored walk for the World Wildlife Fund, for young and old! The walking route takes you through the nature reserve near Brienenoord on the outskirts of Rotterdam and will be a maximum of 5 kilometers long. You will come across all sorts of things during the walk, so put on your detective hat! At the start/end point, we have fun entertainment for the kids, such as face painting, temporary tattoos, and arts and crafts. It promises to be a fun and educational afternoon. This year, we are walking for Dutch nature. In our region, the river landscapes are in the spotlight! The water quality in Dutch rivers is deteriorating; this impacts life in the water, but also life around the water. That is why it is high time to take action so that our rivers and banks can be protected! During the walk, you will learn all about the island of Brienenoord and discover what the WWF does for the river landscapes in the Netherlands.
