Many people know Hoek van Holland from the beach, but our beautiful village has much more to offer. With the Vuurtorenloop Hoek van Holland you will see all of this.
After starting at a historic location, the course takes you past the characteristic Hoekse lighthouses, past the Nieuwlandsepark, the Bonnenpad, you brave the wind along the Nieuwe Waterweg, and you walk proudly over the lookout point at the impressive Maeslantkering and along the quays of the Stena Line and the Staelduinse Bos. And of course a stretch of beach.
The run has different distances (21, 10 and 6 km), and is therefore a nice challenge for beginners and advanced runners. In addition, walkers and power walkers can discover the beauty of Hoek van Holland. And of course the kids run is also on the program. How nice is it that you as a young runner go running together with mom and dad!
After your race you will receive a super cool lighthouse medal and join us for a nice drink at the swinging afterparty. Really cool!
