The Lighthouse Run in Hoek van Holland is more than just a running event; it's a journey of discovery. You'll start at a historic location and run past Hoek van Holland's iconic lighthouses. Enjoy the fresh sea air and the beautiful surroundings.
A Unique Path
The route takes you past Nieuwlandsepark and the Bonnenpad. You'll brave the wind along the Nieuwe Waterweg. Admire the view from the imposing Maeslantkering storm surge barrier. You'll walk along the Stena Line quays and the Staelduinse Bos. And of course, a stretch of beach is a must.
Distances for Everyone
The Vuurtorenloop offers various distances: 21, 10, and 6 kilometers. This makes the event suitable for both beginners and experienced runners. A kids' run is also on the program, a fun experience for the youngest participants.
A Festive Closing
After the race, you'll receive a special lighthouse medal. End the day with a drink at the afterparty. The Lighthouse Run is a day full of sport, fun, and camaraderie. Experience an unforgettable day in Hoek van Holland.
