Vondels Angels Het Zuidelijk Toneel / Sarah Moeremans
In Vondels Angels, Sarah Moeremans and Joachim Robbrecht descend into the slipperiest depths of hell. Time to abseil, with the entire ensemble, helmets and headlamps. From the hottest lava lakes, they fish out the rebellious angels from Vondel's world-famous play Lucifer. Do you remember how they ended up there?
Because they rebelled against God's insane decision to elevate imperfect humans above them (organize your own feedback, you might say, but no). And look now, 400 years after Vondel, it seems that humanity has completely neglected its duty of care for the world and its fellow human beings. With flaming words, new fire, and relentless questions, the angels once again take on God, morality, and human failure. You travel towards the pearly gates as a reservist in the comeback tour of the fallen angels. May Angels Intelligence save us.
