A cursed seer looks into your future in this musical theatre performance
“I am Kassandra. I am used to it, whatever I tell you, you will not believe it.
The end is already decided, I'm drowning. You too, by the way, but you don't believe me.”
Cassandra has the gift of seeing the future, but is cursed by Apollo: no one believes her predictions. Through the eyes of the seer, we look at ourselves and our future, but in the performance Cassandra is confronted with the consequences of her actions. She must pay the price for a passionate night with a man from the highest regions.
In The Witch, Ausdauer delves into Greek mythology. A contemporary musical theatre performance full of new music, in which truth and fiction, power and powerlessness, guilt and innocence are intertwined and a young woman is publicly pilloried. The verdict is certain, that witch must burn.
By the way, we took a look into our crystal ball, but we didn't find out anything about what Ausdauer has in store for us in the future. What we do know for sure is that she previously made an impression in Walhalla with performances such as The Princess of Aceh, Hoogtij(d), Die Mauer and The Century of Ariane.
