Sunday, November 9 - Turkish Delight
After the Cape Verdean kick-off in October, Tarwe Tunes & More takes you to the world of Turkish Delight with Meg Davis & Serdar Demirbas.
Born and raised in the US and now at home in Rotterdam, singer Meg Davis combines pop/rock with Turkish folk music. After her training at Codarts, she has developed into a versatile artist who impresses internationally. She has performed at O Ses Turkiye, collaborated with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, and is active in various bands and music projects. With her powerful voice and stage experience, she knows how to give every performance a special sparkle.
Together with musician Serdar Demirbas, she presents an intimate and compelling program full of Turkish sounds and surprising influences.
