Swan Lake (6+) Introdans
Choreographer Stijn Celis created a contemporary adaptation of Zwanenmeer for the whole family. After the successful tour three years ago, Introdans is bringing this world-famous and beloved classic back to the stage – in a sparkling, contemporary adaptation for young and old. The dance language is powerful and expressive, rich in poetry, grotesque humour and a good dose of imagination.
With his Swan Lake, the Belgian choreographer Celis gave a surprisingly fresh, humorous and innovative twist to the ‘ballet of ballets’: Zwanenmeer, which has been danced worldwide for 125 years since its very first performance. Swan Lake is a grand and compelling spectacle, in which the entire Introdans ensemble shines in an impressive setting, carried by the timeless, majestic and moving music of Tsjaikovski.
