Stadmakerscongres 2026

Het Stadmakerscongres is the Rotterdam workshop for city-making and is organised annually in November by AIR. Every year, we create the programme for Het Stadmakerscongres together with partners and initiators from the city. In this way, we connect current social challenges to concrete initiatives, neighbourhoods and areas, resulting in a programme that shows what is happening in Rotterdam. For whom Het Stadmakerscongres is the place where everyone who feels involved in the future of our city comes together. Public value is always paramount. Participating means contributing: whether you are a resident, student or professional, everyone brings something to the table to move forward together. This is how Het Stadmakerscongres remains an open space where we make the city with and for each other. Every year, we welcome more than 1100 city-makers from all corners of Rotterdam and far beyond. This year, we are once again setting up the entire theatre as a large workshop. You can join work tables, go on a tour or listen to interviews and panel discussions.
