The band, founded in 1990, has a strong musical history with albums such as Simplicidade, Terra K’Tchuva, Contradição and Celebra. On Saturday 17 October, the tour starts in Rotterdam.
The musical journey of Splash!
Splash! was formed in 1990 in the Netherlands and developed into a well-known name in Cape Verdean music. The band combines funaná and coladeira with influences from zouk, reggae, salsa and soul. As a result, Splash! created its own recognizable sound. Over the years, the band built a strong musical history. They did this with albums such as Simplicidade, Terra K’Tchuva, Contradição and Celebra. Terra K’Tchuva earned the band a silver record in Europe in 1998.
