Some films shouldn't just be seen, they should be smelled. And now you can. During this screening of Spirited Away, fragrance specialist Frank Bloem will create special scents (both pleasant and very unpleasant) so you can fully immerse yourself in the story.

Frank Bloem is originally a visual artist. Since 2014, he has focused on creating perfumes and designing scents for exhibitions. He has developed elephant scents for Artis Royal Zoo and a North Sea perfume for the Embassy of the North Sea. He also runs the Aroma Lab at the Mediamatic arts center. His company , The Snifferoo, creates personalized fragrances on request. In 2022, he published the book "Geur. De vergeten Gevoel" (Smell: The Forgotten Sensation) . You'll have the opportunity to experience his expertise.
The magical world of Chihiro
Immerse yourself in the Japanese anime film Spirited Away . It follows 10-year-old Chihiro, who moves with her family. She finds herself in a mysterious world full of witches and monsters.
