Play along with Multiform in the Museum Park
Step onto the field during the Multiform Tournament. Curator Amanda Pinatih and designer Gabriel Fontana invite you to participate in one of the alternative team sports. These sports take center stage in the exhibition SIDELINED: Space for Being Together Differently. Multiform plays with dynamic teams, an alternative sports field, and transformable uniforms. Discover what it means when 'the other' becomes your teammate and vice versa. At Multiform, you compete against each other in 3 teams. Who 'belongs' to you is not fixed. Experience how you position 'the other' against yourself. Discover what it means to belong to a majority or, conversely, a minority. And see how sport can contribute to combating exclusion.
Future of sport, play, and public space
The program is divided into sessions for adults and for children and young people (12-18 years). Both programs start at the Nieuwe Instituut with an introduction by Amanda Pinatih and Gabriel Fontana. Afterwards, you will participate in the Multiform Tournament on the square in the Museum Park. After the tournament, you return to the exhibition space. There, you will work together in a workshop on the future of sport, play, and public space.
