SHRINE Khadija El Kharraz Alami

She, a Daughter, who carries the greatest pain, sorrow and grief with her, is being sought by the government. Her mother was gruesomely murdered by systems maintained by people and powers. The Daughter is a witness to this; she saw it with her own eyes, the horrors of how her mother was murdered are burned into her retinas. She chooses an honest fight for justice and follows the steps of the rule of law.

After years of fighting for a fair trial and justice, she is battle-weary. Her anger and grief radicalize her in the capitalist world. Her radicalism has led her to set fire to embassies, town halls, parliament, palaces, police stations, courts, prisons, private banks, oil companies, gas stations, wholesalers and many other government buildings, companies and infrastructure. She has always caused material damage; there have never been any deaths or injuries. The government is trying to find out who she acted with, as they do not believe she could have done this alone. The grief and injustice that have come to reside in her body transform into anger. She has drawn all her strength from this to create chaos and disrupt the economy.

This has motivated many women in other countries in Europe and America to do the same. She went into hiding for a long time in the desert, where she meets the Jinns. They offer her refuge in their dimension, in their SHRINE, their sanctuary. Here, her grief and anger are celebrated and given every space to exist and to express themselves without nuance. There is commemoration, prayer, singing, sacrificing and celebrating.
