See you later, Illustrator!

For small creators with big ideas! On Wednesday, 21 October 2026, it is time for a special autumn holiday edition of See you later, Illustrator! This edition is dedicated to the exhibition A Chair and You. Together with poet Wessel Klootwijk and illustrator Yara Ruby, you will create a visual story. Wessel provides inspiration and Yara draws your ideas live on paper. Together with all the children, you will decide what story the artwork tells.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This special edition will be dedicated to the exhibition A Chair and You. Poet Wessel begins with a story inspired by this exhibition and illustrator Yara draws it out immediately. While the poet tells the story and the illustrator draws, you can come up with all sorts of things for the story in the meantime. The funniest, craziest, most beautiful, strangest or scariest things: anything goes! And of course, you will also get to work on drawing yourself.
