Saul Williams | Leap Life Tour

Saul Williams has refused to be pigeonholed for nearly three decades. Poet, musician, actor, filmmaker, on April 2 he brings his new album Leap Life to BIRD.

On Leap Life, his first solo album in seven years, Williams moves effortlessly between spoken word, jazz, hip-hop, ambient, and sounds that feel almost ceremonial. Not a genre exercise, but music born from rhythm, voice, and intuition. Sometimes raw, sometimes meditative, always fully on its own frequency.

Anyone who knows Williams from SLAM, Neptune Frost, his albums, or his recent role in Sinners knows: sitting still isn't really his thing. Expect a live show where words become music, music becomes movement, and everything in between is allowed to disappear.
