Playful and poetic toddler performance with a ball.
Rokkerol. The ball that rolls and romps around the show. Imagine meeting a ball for the first time. You roll towards me. Embrace and lean over. Gently against you. Together we roll. Everything around us moves. Upside down. Round and rebellious. This ball can roll strangely!
Rokkerol is a playful and poetic toddler performance about rolling along, holding on and letting go by theatre maker and mime performer Efrem Stein. He makes performances that fit perfectly with the world of experience of young children, with a mix of simple objects, space and fantasy. He plays with simple shapes and materials, but secretly touches on major themes such as contact, trust and discovering together. Rokkerol is therefore not a classical performance, but a sensory experience for children and their parents.
