Ride or Die Sheree Lenting | ONYX
The first City Choreographer of Rotterdam, Sheree Lenting, dives beneath the surface of love and relationships with RIDE OR DIE. Through dance, film, spoken word, and music, you step into a world where love is a choice that chafes.
In RIDE OR DIE, Rotterdam-based Sheree Lenting exposes what lies beneath our relationships: things that are never spoken but determine everything. Because what we feel does not come from nothing. It is shaped by history, by what generations before us have carried, by patterns that still continue to affect how we love, trust, and protect ourselves.
Three performers move between hip hop, African and Caribbean diaspora, and contemporary dance. Their bodies carry that history, but also search for a way out. For something new.
Powerful, pure, intimate, and vulnerable. Must see!
