Resonances From The Void about getting lost, longing and connection

about getting lost, longing and connection

From Thursday August 21st to Sunday September 14th, you can visit the first of a two-part exhibition organised by the Kunstambassade Rotterdam. In this exhibition you will see works by more than twenty Rotterdam artists, who reflect on our current times, which is experiencing an acceleration that often seems to be beyond our control - as if the world is slipping through our fingers. And yet, a deep human longing persists: for participation, for collaboration, for the exchange of ideas, for meaningful contact through words, through shared presence.

The first exhibition Resonances From The Void reflect a sense of disorientation and estrangement, both personal and societal — a feeling of being lost and disconnected in an overwhelming and fragmented world.

The Kunstambassade connects Rotterdam-based visual artists, letting them share their work with art lovers, both through physical exhibitions and online via the virtual studio. The Kunstambassade is a network based on solidarity: a part of the proceeds of sold works goes to a shared fund.

  opening hours

The exhibition can be visited in Studio 2, de Doelen Art, at Schouwburgplein 57, on the following days:
