Ramon Chatrer - VOLK

Ramon Chatrer (’sjatree’ is Old French for ‘to castrate’) is looking forward to it, because tonight it’s really going to happen! His second cabaret show ‘VOLK’ received glowing four-star reviews and Theaterkrant named it ‘Critic’s Choice’. After a sold-out try-out at Walhalla in ‘25, he is coming back this time for the real deal.

With his charming appearance and messy hair, Chatrer discusses growing up in a small Brabant village and the hustle and bustle of ‘the big city’ where he now lives. There are people everywhere and Ramon just never quite fits in. This results in a lot of jokes, surprising stories and acclaimed songs influenced by funk, soul and blues on, among other things, bass guitar. With ‘VOLK’, Chatrer tells an impressive and important story about the secrets in a cozy Brabant village. ‘An evening that will stay in your mind for a long time,’ according to the press.
