In Welkom dat je luister, Pepijn Schoneveld effortlessly weaves together his love for Dutch-language songs and his comedic talent. Pepijn gives the songs of the greats a second life and also performs new numbers written especially for him. At the same time, the true comedian in Pepijn emerges, and he does what he does best: hilarious bridges, comical twists, and rock-solid scenes that connect the gems of cabaret.
You meet old Pepijn, once a sort of dog with lots of owners telling him how to do things. Until the owners were all gone and he had to fend for himself for the first time in his life. A coming-of-age story, then. Or actually: a coming-from-very-far-away story. Featuring a starring role for Queer Eye and a life-changing manual 'for being alone'. Pepijn performs songs by Yentl & De Boer, Maarten van Roozendaal, Jurriaan van Dongen, Ramses Shaffy, and Ron van Zalmsaus (Rundfunk), among others.
