Levi Silvanie brings Caribbean soul music, stories and a dinner together at an open table in Verhalenhuis Belvédère. The Curaçaose singer-songwriter creates an intimate evening with his band and guest chef Anamaria Christiaan.
An intimate evening full of Caribbean sounds
Levi Silvanie returns to Verhalenhuis Belvédère for an intimate evening where Caribbean hospitality, stories, authentic food and music come together at one communal table. Together with his band, the Curaçaoan singer-songwriter brings a warm mix of soul, pop and Afro-Caribbean sounds. Guest chef Anamaria Christiaan will provide the dinner.
Musical journey and personal stories
Levi Silvanie is one of the influential artists in Dutch-Caribbean music. He blends Afro-Caribbean influences with soul, funk, pop, jazz and hip-hop and sings in English and Papiamentu. His music and stories take you on an introspective journey. He has previously performed at the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival and has worked with Joss Stone and the Metropole Orkest. The language of communication this evening is English.
