Yet another encore! With sharp conferences by Hans, phenomenally accompanied by his son Jesse.
It will not have escaped the attention of theatre-goers that Hans Dorrestijn has equalled Heintje Davids' record. That Heintje and Hans are both so good at stopping and still coming back, is certainly related to their shared initials: HD (do they secretly also stand for something like... 'Heuswel Doorgaan'?)
“My mind tells me it’s been great. I just have to explain it to myself,” he said about it in the Volkskrant. Well, it will end sometime… but not just yet. Because that mind got the short end of the stick: Hans is back in Walhalla, with conferences that are once again a feast of recognition. This time he comes together with his son Jesse, with whom he sings songs. “He provides my lyrics with music in a Harry Bannink-like way and accompanies me on the guitar. You will hear that I am not just saying this as a proud father.”
In Nog Even Dit, Hans confuses guests with the well-aimed words of 'a detective on the threshold of the door'. Hans is his old self, with a sharp eye for everything that goes wrong: small and big suffering. With his son Jesse he celebrates the End of Times, under the guise of: 'immersed in Dorrestijn's bath you have had enough misery for the rest of your life.'
