Nacht van de Vluchteling
Fenix serves as the start and finish point for the Rotterdam routes. During the Night of the Refugee, thousands of people walk 10, 20, 40, or 50 kilometers. With your participation, you raise money for the emergency relief projects of Stichting Vluchteling. This year, too, the Rotterdam routes depart from Fenix.
The walk that makes an impact
At the Night of the Refugee, you dedicate yourself to an important cause. You walk 10, 20, 40, or 50 kilometers and raise money for emergency relief projects of Stichting Vluchteling. For many participants, this event starts and finishes at Fenix in Rotterdam.
Routes and special final destination
The 10 and 20-kilometer routes take you back to the Fenix via a beautiful trail. If you choose the longer distances of 40 or 50 kilometers, you will walk all the way to The Hague. You finish there on Sunday morning at Theater aan het Spui . During the walk, there are plenty of opportunities for a short break with a drink and a snack to keep your energy levels up.
World Refugee Day and Fenix
From June 16 to 20, De Fenix will be dedicated to World Refugee Day. During this time, various activities are being organized to reflect on refugees. These include films, communal dinners, conversations, and art. The Night of the Refugee forms a powerful conclusion to this week, during which participants walk for emergency aid around the world.

Fenix, Studio De Zolder and restaurant Mies debut at Museumnacht010
Museumnacht010 takes place on Saturday 7 March, transforming Rotterdam into one big art landscape. This edition welcomes a number of new venues such as the new art museum Fenix on Katendrecht, the interdisciplinary Studio De Zolder in Middelland, and the restaurant Mies, located in a Bauhaus icon.
