Muziekperformance door Gerwin bij Het Archief Artspace

The exhibition Silent Sirens by filmmaker and visual artist Mirjam Somers shows the creative process from more than 300 'Daily Drawings' to the first film images of her new project. The exhibition reveals sketches, mood boards, models and film fragments that together provide an intriguing insight into her artistic development. A key moment came about through a spontaneous meeting with musician Gerwin, whose performance inspired the main character of the film. During this special music performance, Gerwin will perform live compositions that he made for Silent Sirens, in which he also plays the leading role. The result is an intense fusion of image and sound, in which personal expression and cinematic vision reinforce each other. A special moment of deepening within an equally special exhibition.
