Mikhail Pletnev sterpianist speelt Grieg, Bach en Schumann
star pianist plays Grieg, Bach and Schumann
Mikhail Pletnev belongs to the absolute world elite of pianists. The star pianist is known for his idiosyncratic and deeply thought-out interpretations, in which technical perfection goes hand in hand with artistic freedom. In this recital, he connects the clarity of Bach with the lyricism of Grieg and the poetic layering of Schumann. This creates an evening in which different musical worlds meet, carried by a pianist with an exceptional sense of detail and expression.
