Meule

French trio Meule is anything but ordinary. Their line-up alone—one guitarist/synth player and two drummers—betrays that you can expect something special. Meule is rooted in psychedelic garage rock, in the spirit of Osees or King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, but stretches that sound electronically towards krautrock, tekno, big beat, electro and even pop. The result is a mesmerizing, energetic mix in which rhythm plays the leading role: raw, pulsating and hypnotic.

After a series of EPs and their acclaimed debut album in 2021, Lost in You, the first single from the upcoming album Dare, was released in May 2025. This new record is bursting with ideas, but remains light-hearted and accurate: with an elegant balance between introspection and explosive outburst. Meule previously toured Europe, Canada and South Korea, and left an indelible impression with a live session at the renowned radio station KEXP in Seattle. With Dare, the band takes another bold step in their idiosyncratic, limitless sound universe.
