Magic Shoppe are known for their penchant for distortion and reverb. The five-piece effortlessly blend screeching guitars into hypnotic soundscapes that erupt in warm, mesmerizing chaos. They balance driving bass, raw rhythms, and dark vocals influenced by My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Sonic Youth, creating a shoegaze sound that playfully flirts with psychedelia and noise rock.
In their impressive 13-year career, the band has released six albums and six EPs — a remarkable feat. On top of that, one of their songs is featured in the hit Netflix series Outer Banks, and they tour relentlessly across Europe and the US. Still, they found the time to release another EP in September of this year!
