NOSOTROS Twee zuiden, één lied is an intimate music theatre performance in which flamenco and Argentine tango meet in a story about love.
Maria Robles and Hernán Lucero bring two musical lovers to life who meet, lose, and find each other again. Together with guitarist Álvaro Rovira, they build musical bridges between Seville and Buenos Aires. Passion, longing, humor, and tenderness form the common thread of performances in which music connects cultures.
Maria Robles (vocals & flamenco dance) Flamenco singer and dancer from Seville, based in the Netherlands for over thirty years. She studied at the Conservatorio de Sevilla and also trained at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. For her, flamenco is an instrument: a way to connect two worlds – Seville and the world.
Hernán Lucero (vocals & guitar) is a singer, composer, and guitarist from Argentina and one of the most acclaimed voices of the moment. Starting from tango, he also explores Argentine folklore, rock, and other popular music. With his personal style, he presents Argentina's rich musical tradition in a contemporary way.
Álvaro Rovira (guitar) Guitarist who, with his refined playing, forms the musical link between flamenco and tango.
