In their theatrical production, Loes Luca and Teleruptor delve into the turbulent life story of Marie Galante. She is the main character from the book by French screenwriter Jacques Deval.
Loes tells Marie's story in a Dutch translation. She sings the original French chansons that Kurt Weill composed in 1934 for the stage adaptation of the book at the Théâtre de Paris. The musicians of Teleruptor accompany her with a captivating live soundtrack.
