How do you relate to a culture that you have not experienced yourself, but that lives within you? During this afternoon we will explore the meaning of cultural heritage with Stichting Indo Zijn, the Indisch Herinneringscentrum and Studio de Bakkerij. In conversation with, among others, historian Suze Zijlstra and theatre maker Janne Groen we will search for the connection between past and present. Dance, music and open conversations form the basis for a joint investigation into identity, memory and the passing on of culture. Do not expect answers, but an invitation to reflection and encounter.
