Klimaat Festival Carnisse

On Friday, November 6, the Amelandseplein in Carnisse will transform into a vibrant place full of sustainable ideas, creative workshops, music, and conviviality! The Klimaat Festival Carnisse is the festive conclusion of a year-long Kinder Klimaat Ateliers in Carnisse: free activities in which children research, design, and build a colorful and climate-adaptive neighborhood. Between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, there is plenty to discover and do. Give clothing a second life, go searching for gold in the circular workshop, or take part in the workshops by Archiklas. Discover the trees in the neighborhood, go on an expedition to research energy, and build new creations from waste material with Torens van Troep. At the neighborhood stalls, you can get to know green initiatives from the neighborhood and discover how you can save energy yourself. You can also enjoy treats from the neighborhood and warm up with a drink by the campfire. There is plenty to experience for young and old! The festival is organized for and by residents, local entrepreneurs, and neighborhood partners. Because together we make Carnisse greener, more sustainable, and more convivial! Everyone is welcome to join in, get inspired, and discover how small actions can make a big difference.
