Klara and the Sun

In Klara and the Sun, based on the bestseller by Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro, you meet Klara (Jenna Ortega), an Artificial Friend who wants nothing more than to find her perfect home. When she meets Josie (Mia Tharia), they immediately recognize something in each other. Josie has a difficult relationship with her mother (Amy Adams) and they have suffered a great loss, but with her innocent wonder and unwavering loyalty, Klara manages to bring the family a little closer together and thus brings joy into Josie's complicated life. The special bond between Klara and Josie raises bigger questions about love and what truly makes us unique. Academy Award® winner Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit) directs this colorful, futuristic tale about the boundaries of artificial intelligence and the human need for connection.
