Jazz, Groove & Space in de Heilige Familiekerk

Dark Sine is a groovy, fusion-oriented improvisation band. The music oscillates between free sound exploration and tight rhythmic structures. Sometimes you feel transported to the 70s, in the world of Bitches Brew, Weather Report, or Soft Machine. At times, it feels as though you disconnect from time and place.

You are literally surrounded by art. During the concert, visual artist Martijn te Winkel creates a live action painting, in dialogue with the music.

The venue itself adds to the experience: a former church, now used as an experimental art and sound space, where the acoustics and atmosphere enhance the experience.
