Jaipur Junction

Jaipur Junction consists of singer and songwriter Sarita Rav from Jaipur, India, and drummer and producer Otto de Jong from Utrecht. In the past, they performed traditional North Indian songs as a duo, with only vocals and drums. During the pandemic, they expanded their musical adventure and started writing their own music. They sent their demos back and forth while living more than 6000 kilometers apart. This resulted in their brand new album Sambhav , where traditional Indian vocals with roots in Rajasthan and Hindi lyrics are combined with warm harmonies and lush melodies on guitar and keyboard. Or authentic tabla rhythms with their origins in the classical school of New Delhi and folk are infused with indie and jazz rock, dynamic drums, deep synth basses and ambient electronics. All this mixed in a raw, yet contemporary sounding mix. With their new, colorful album and positive experiences from the past, Jaipur Junction is more than ready to conquer your heart in GROUNDS with their mesmerizing sound.
