injuries & remedies Simon Baetens & Micha Goldberg

Simon Baetens & Micha Goldberg

The pain of existence

Two players ask each other questions about pain and uncertainty. This is something you experience as a human being. It resembles a post-show discussion, an interview, or therapy. injuries & remedies is a performance by Simon Baetens and Micha Goldberg. They are performers and theatre makers. They give each other advice, confront each other, and offer comfort. In this way, a continuous conversation emerges.

Asking questions

The conversation in injuries & remedies is about asking questions. Over and over again, because it shows what we truly feel inside. The performance alternates between what actually happened and what is made up. There is humour and honesty about feelings. What do Simon and Micha want to know about each other? They give their thoughts and feelings a voice and a body.

The world of Simon and Micha

Simon and Micha use dark humour and self-criticism. They also share confessions. It is not always clear whether these are true. In this way, they create a world in which everyday things and dreams come together. Simon Baetens studied Drama. He now works as a theatre maker, performer, and dramaturg. In 2024, his performance I’m Not Done was shown for the first time. Simon also acted in German Staatstheater by Rosie Sommers & Micha Goldberg. He created solo performances for Ne Mosquito Pas and Anal Pompidou.
