HIT ME Frascati Producties / Just van Bommel
In late 2024, Luigi Mangione shot a CEO dead in broad daylight and became an internet sensation. A 'bad boy', violent, dangerous, but also irresistibly exciting. A sex symbol. Why do we fall for danger? What makes someone who destroys us, attract us instead? And what does that say about how we love?
In HIT ME, Just van Bommel explores the thin, explosive line between attraction and violence. Like an erotic boxing match where the body is challenged to the extreme. Where a chokehold almost makes you faint, but can just as easily end in a kiss. Where pain and pleasure flow into one another and desire rubs against destruction. Just digs into the paradox of our desire; raw, confrontational and uncomfortably close.
