Hillegerberg Oktober Kunstmaand 3 - 31 Oktober

A new initiative in Rotterdam that is already bursting with energy during the preparations! In just 8 weeks, the 'Hillegersberg October Art Month' was born! More than 40 artists in various categories responded to a call posted on social media in mid-July. Together with a large number of entrepreneurs in the shopping area, they are bringing substance to an artistic month! They will create a varied Art Route through the charming shopping area located by the Bergse Plas! There are also various participants who will give lectures or provide workshops. In addition to the existing art galleries, various pop-up exhibition spaces will be set up where diverse artists will exhibit and sell their works. Photography, painting, ceramics, and modern art... many art disciplines will be represented. Artists themselves will be present several times during the Art Month to tell interested visitors about their work, and perhaps they will be creating an artwork themselves! Every weekend there are also fun (children's) activities to complete the atmosphere! But, we want to surprise you, so we aren't revealing everything yet!
